The Greek word “philotimo” is a combination of honor, integrity, duty, pride, dignity and courage. This embodies the spirit of Moustaki. We believe in serving food as a unifier, for a diverse and inclusive world.
ROOTED IN GREEK HERITAGE
Growing up spending summers in Greece, Owners Pete and Gus experienced first hand the fresh flavors and traditions of Greece and the meaning of the word “philotimo.” After visiting family in Greece, Pete and his wife, Trish had the vision to bring authentic Greek gyros to the United States. In 2017 Moustaki was born. Moustaki’s mission is simple: to bring authentic Greek gyros to the United States and to have philotimo. We strive to bring people together through our delicious food and create a positive impact in the communities we serve.

We are inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle in many of our dishes. We use only the highest quality ingredients in our dishes, many of which are sourced directly from Greece. We believe in serving food that is delicious and helps more people eat and live well.
We take great delight in cooking everything at Moustaki Authentic Gyros from fresh ingredients. We sincerely care about whatever goes into every single dish we serve because we value and respect our customers. Our ingredients are proudly sourced from Greece and local suppliers. We believe that every dish we make and serve will convey love to each customer because our restaurant was founded on the love and passion for Greek flavors.
